Thank you, Microsoft, for thirty remarkable years.

Dear friends,

Over the past thirty years, it has been an honor to learn from you as you tolerated my questions and mistakes, shared your wisdom, and kept me curious with your ideas.

Kurt Vonnegut said, “Out on the edge you see all kinds of things you can’t see from the center.” It is time for me to shift away from the wonderful center that Microsoft has provided for over half of my life. July 5^th will be my last day carrying the blue badge.

Words cannot express my gratitude for the many lifelong friendships formed as we built everything from SDKs to XDKs to QDKs together. Thank you for being part of my journey at this incredible company, and for allowing me to be part of yours.
